Jerusalem, Israel

February 2016: It seems that it hasn’t stopped snowing for a week. With the grey days here in Ottawa, Canada– I decided to look for a picture from my travels to remind me of blue skies and sunshine.

My homework from my online course is to work on the hint of materials, and not necessarily finish all the line work associated with the material.  The picture from a street in Jerusalem provided me with subject- a one point perspective, with stone walls, cobblestones and blue sky and sunshine.

Chanukah 2013 we were in Israel, and spent a shabbat morning walking from our hotel to the Old City. We walked down the hill through a lovely residential area, by a soccer field, and then up the other side of the valley, through the perimeter wall, surrounding the Old City.
