June 2012: An RAIC Conference was the excuse for Jim and I to visit St. John’s Newfoundland. With an afternoon to explore, and a fog that had finally lifted we headed out to find “Quidi Vidi“. All that we knew was that it was a “historic fishing village“. I was told the village is a quiet community, where you can walk from one end to the other in five minutes. The village is a little sheltered corner of the east coast, with a glimpse of the Atlantic Ocean from inside “The Gut”. The area was picturesque with lots of opportunity to use my camera.
