St. Bernard Chapel, Mont Tremblant, Quebec

January 2016: In 1942, at the base of the mountain Joe Ryan built the chapel dedicated to St. Bernard, the patron saint of skiing.  The church is described as “a replica of the 18th century parish churches on Ile D’Orleans, an island near Quebec City, on the St. Lawrence River“.
